I found one of these in the thrift store yesterday for $3 so I bought

it thinking it would be useful for making french bread. There where no

instructions and after hours of search the web all I've learned is

that people have has success with various recipes and frozen bread

doughs. The pyrex website doesn't even have it listed anywhere on

their site most likely because they haven't made them in like 30

years! So I'm curious if anyone here has or had one and if they had

any success or recipes they can share. Also interested in knowing if

there are temp restriction/limits for this? Most breads I see between

350 and 400 degrees, and I'd imagine that the glass tube would not

alter the temp requirements but you never know!

Any tried and true french bread recipes would be much appreciated

regaurdless of baking method. I just want some french bread! :(

Thanks,

Jae
