Hi All

We've just got back from the candlelight vigil for peace (a rolling one

around the world at dusk). We joined in the vigil in our local tiny town-

there were 75 people there! Rather amazing in this area. There was a

really good and powerful feel to the event.

See you

Cool! I was at another anti-war march yesterday that began at the

Washington Monument and went around the White House. There were a few

pro-war counterprotesters, some of whom wondered if we'd forgotten 9/11 (no,

and that's why we don't want to go to war with Iraq. Do these " freepers "

even think?!). Today, I did tabling with Vegetarian Society of DC for the

Great American Meatout, and hooboy, I am tired!

That's what I'd like to know, but there was so much noise, I don't think

they could have heard the question, even if I'd asked it. I mean, even the

connection to Afghanistan is tenuous. Fifteen of the 19 hijackers were from

Saudi Arabia, but the Saudis are tight with the Bush misadministration.

Hi Fraggle

I'm not really surprised by that. It's morning here. Colin and I have a week off work, and Peter's just left for work. I have SKY news on and it looks set for war later today - very sad. I see Bush has arranged for giant screens to beam pictures of the destruction of the Iraqi army into Iraq. I cannot describe how I feel!
