Lately there has been a real upsurge in spammers joining the list, attempting to post their advert and then leaving straight away. Rejecting these posts and banning the offenders is taking me more time than actually reading the e-mails at the moment, so I've decided that all new members need to have their membership approved before they can post to the list. This will not affect any current members, but it will mean that anyone planning to join, post and sod off again won't be so much of a bother! I've recently became mod there and we have been having alot of people join and just post dating services and then hear nothing else from them. Peter you may want to check the links and files section of the group too if members have access to it.
