A woman at work's husband was following that diet, and, although I wouldn't normally comment, I did feel it necessary to say I thought it was a most unhealthy thing to do. Last year he got a deep vein thrombosis and had to go on blood-thinners! Last year, some twit wrote in the New York Times that the low-fat diet was a big fat lie 'cause people were fatter than ever. Well, if you eat the *wrong* carbs, and if you eat more calories than you expend, you're gonna gain weight. Here's hoping Dean Ornish and John Robbins live to their mid-90s.
