Guest guest
Hi everyone Some good news on After Eight Mints (in the UK).... Nestle say that the ones made in Britain are suitable for vegans, but that "some retailers import foreign product which contain butter fat, so check the ingredients list on the packet". Guest guest
These are vegan in the States as well. They are my favorite indulgence, but as always, check the label. I have been duped by vegan-by-accident foods that changed their formula. -VeronicaPeter <Snowbow wrote: Hi everyone Some good news on After Eight Mints (in the UK).... Guest guest
May I suggest sampling mint chocolate made by Plamil or other vegan companies. Nestle is one of the world's largest multinational dairy companies who have a history of aggressive marketing in developing countries which has caused poor infant health and higher mortality rates. The organisation Baby Milk Action can provide much further information. (The vegan alternative is ALWAYS the best!!) :-) For the animals, always. Guest guest
Please bear in mind when buying Nestle products that they are a company connected to vivisection as well as the dairy industry Regards K --- Vegecentric <vegecentric wrote: > Hi Peter, > In Australia in think they have butter oil, or fat, > or some such crap. Guest guest
Hi Peter, In Australia in think they have butter oil, or fat, or some such crap. The only vegan chocolate mints I have found in Melbourne recently have been the Walkers (UK) brand. Guest guest
I didn't know that Nestle was connected to vivisectors. As for a company being connected to dairy, Silk is owned by the dairy industry. However, I hope that by purchasing soy products, I make it clear that there is a huge demand for substitutes. Guest guest
Thank you, Kerry. However, your contribution which I wholeheartedly agree with may prove somewhat controversial to this chatroom.
