Hi Siobhan

I'm 55, live in southern England. I too have two wonderful children. My main interests are metal (music), spirituality, gardening, walking in the woods and by streams, Tai Chi, meditation and knitting. I work full-time as a clerk, and wish I didn't!

hello, Siobhan:

I'm 34, live in Washington, DC, and have one daughter of the feline

persuasion (a cat). I make my own jewelry, and I hope to start selling it

once I get the guts to go to Eastern Market or try e-bay again...I'm a

newbie veg (about 16 months), and I have no regrets, except I wish I'd done

this sooner.

Happy to oblige,

My name is Amy. I am 27 years old. I have around 30 children, as I am a teacher. I live in Southern California---in the "Inland Empire." No kids or pets of my own. I'm focused on finishing school, as I need a degree to further my career.

An interesting tidbit: I am named after a soap opera character from the 70's. This character became pregnant, had a baby girl, and named her Tori.---My mother named my little sister the same name. This is one of the reasons I lengthened my name to Amylia, pronounced, "Emma-lee-ah," as I would prefer not to be part of a fictional legacy.

Hi,

I'm 29 and a bit, but definitely not 30, no, not even close to 30...

I live in Wales (that's just outside England), with my wife (vegetarian),

dogs (vegan - hurrah!), and cat (currently absent, but still hoping).

I work as a musician and writer when I can, and a book-keeper when I can't.

And, given the current threads, should add that I'm agnostic, and enjoy the

occasional argument/debate so long as it remains civil!

Cheers,

John

Considering the large number of relatively new folk, that's probably a good idea..

I'm Peter - owner, chief moderator of the list and commander-in-general of the universe :-) Also Jo's son (hence her sometimes using my e-mail address by mistake!) I'm 29, live in Southern England, I'm Pagan, like progressive metal and classical music, play guitar and sing, do a bit of amateur dramatics, etc., etc.

My name is Sarah, I live in Kansas City, MO. I am a

I visited Chicago many years ago, and loved it. Believe it or not, I stayed

with my (then) American girlfriend's sister in a 4-story mansion overlooking

Lake Michigan, and her sister was married to one of the senior

vice-presidents of McDonalds! He was a friendly guy, but he wasn't happy

that we tended to eat out at Taco Bell instead of McD's. Didn't click that

his stores didn't cater much for vegans...
