Guest guest
I am so upset, I saw that my neighbors had a huge trap set in their front yard. I knew this wasn't the kind of trap you could pick up and relocate an animal with, it is really large. And they don't seem like the type to care about animal welfare so I was concerned. Well, I woke up this morning and saw they caught a large racoon. Then they pushed teh cage back just behind their gate and shut it. Then I saw the guy go to his truck and get some kind of big tool and a bag. I figured he was going to kill it and throw it in the bag so I ran over and asked if I could help. He said "We have it under control". I said that I work with an environmental agency that relocates racoons and I would be glad to take it from here (I don't). He got all nervous and said "We have it under control". I said "Did you kill it"? And he just said the same thing. I knew that ******* killed it! I said, if it's alive just give it to me "He jsut kept ignoring me. I asked to see it if it was alive, but of course he had killed it. The older woman started making excuses, "It was keeping me up at night". I was so upset, I said "I think it's sick! SICK!" and I stormed off. How do I let these people not get to me? I get way too upset aobut things like this and people like this. Siobhan SBC DSL - Now only $29.95 per month!

Guest guest
Siobhan, can you call the authorities about the trap? it's dangerous to their pets and dangerous to passersby. Guest guest
I'm so sorry for you, it's horrible, it makes me sick that people can be so " damaged " (crazy) and stay free, because they belong to the majority (they eat meat, they don't question anything...) and we are pointed out because we are a menace for this society, because we question things, we are different. xxx Camille , Surya Burdick <californiagnomes> wrote: > I am so upset, I saw that my neighbors had a huge trap set in their front yard. Guest guest
I thought about seeing if it was illegal to catch and kill, I can't imagine it's not, but then I wondered how I would prove it. They could basically just say whatever they want. If I see the trap out again (which I am afraid they will put it in the back yard since my outcry) I will call and see if I can do something before it's too late. SBC DSL - Now only $29.95 per month! Guest guest
i know in most places in California, raccoons are protected.... i assume like places out in the sticks er the sierra nevada, thats probably different.. but..around here, you can't catch a raccoon and then kill the fellow...animal cruelty... do they have kids?? maybe you could cage one, cuz they were keeping you up...and... just kidding... fraggle
