Most of the members here are either in the US or the UK, but there's a few dotted around other places as well! Hmmm... what's Chicago like. I guess lotsa things. I like it. You can find most anything here. It tis a bit Vegan friendly, but I have only found that out recently. We have lotsa good health food stores and some nice Vegan restaurants (visited my first Vegan restaurant last month if ya can believe that). But mostly no one knows what a Vegan is or why anyone would want ot be one. But it's fun teaching them. ((hugz)) nikki Nature never breaks its own rules. Mostly stayed towards the SW border of IN, but did venture up to Muskegon on Friday. I gotta tell ya, I love yer speed limits! I am a social work major with a womyns study minor. Once I graduate I am going to move to Tempe, Arizona for grad. school. After school is over I would like to find a job as a youth cordinator for a Gay, Lesbian, Bisexual, and Transgendered community center running the youth programs. After that the skies the limit! I also want to own/run my own vegan resturant, and I teach yoga right now so I would like to continue with that as well. I figure that with the way I am going I will be to busy to ever leave this world. how about you, whats Chicago like? Hmmm.... what's Chicago like dunno how to quite answer that also depends what parts yer in at the time too it's diverse, close-minded, open-minded, freeing yet restricting we have tons of musuems, libraries, parks, pool, communities, cultures, any type of restaurant you could ever want/need, lots of hotels, part of lake Michigan and a few nice rivers/lakes/streams, lotsa forest preserves, tall buildings, stores of every kinds geesh, i haven't even scratched the surface i guess to sum it up, I can't you can pick any street here to drive down and within 5-15 minutes you will see something new whether a new neighborhood type, a new religion, a new culture or ethnicity, from a beach then to downtown, it's all different the weather is freaky at times too - it can snow one day and then two days later have 65 degree weather with high humidity we range temps year round from 95 to 25 below zero we get snow, rain, sleet, sun, hail (basketball size last week), tornados, thunderstorms, high winds, high humidity - you name it i like it at times, i love it at others an occasionally i want to run away tis home nikki , Randi F Sherman <rsherman@n...> wrote: > Nikki, > *laughs* it's not as bad as I make it seem some days are just better > then others.
