Guest guest
Try www.drmcdougall.com. He has a vegan weight loss plan. I have a couple of his books, his recipes are delicious! -Wendy Sue We have enslaved the rest of the animal creation, and have treated our distant cousins in fur and feathers so badly that beyond doubt, if they were able to formulate a religion, they would depict the Devil in human form. ~William Ralph Inge, Outspoken Essays, 1922 >EBbrewpunx > > >Re: Weight >Sat, 12 Jul 2003 11:53:40 EDT > >In a message dated 7/12/03 8:46:40 AM Pacific Daylight Time, >luckycharm2315 writes: > > > > > > > > Hello everyone. Guest guest
*****i can drop ten lbs in a week if i cut out pasta..of course, i put it all back on the next week when i go back to it****** Maybe I am a freak of nature. I have had the same weight within 5 pounds up or down for about the last 8 years. I am 24 years old. Pasta is my favorite food and I eat it almost every day. I couldn't live with out it. The only thing that caused me to gain weight was my sophomore year of high school when I ate pizza every day for lunch and weighed about 10 more than I do now. I try to do some exercise every day and eat low fat foods most of the time. That works for me although I have a friend who is cutting out pasta (carbohydrates) in order to shed some pounds. I gave up meat (It was more an environmental thing then a health thing.) but she refuses to do that. The only thing I might have to worry about is my metabolism slowing down as I get older (like my mom and her mom) and I might put on weight from foods that previously did nothing. As long as I try to eat healthy and stay active I won't worry about it.
