Pretty funny Fraggle, are you here all week?

(just don't quit your day job ;) )

I'm kidding, no mean emails please! No matter how far you have gone on the wrong road, turn back. -Turkish proverbFact: Each gallon of gas used by a car contributes almost 20 pounds of carbon dioxide to the atmosphere. A single car driving 1,000 miles a month adds up to 120 tons of CO2 annually. Fact: One crop of hemp grown on one acre of land produces the same amount of pulpable fiber as one acre of 20 year old trees.

Wow that sounds like a great garden,

I wish I had one of those, I have a really cheesy version of a garden.

I have basil, mint, tomato's and even corn growing (i dont really know if its going to turn out but its worth a try).

but yeah i need a garden!EBbrewpunx wrote:

ya know, i'm starting to get a wee bit jealous here

me garden just isn't popping this year

not enough sun/heat

have me usual 10' maters, but they're all green :(

the green peps are fine, but the red & yellow won't turn

none of me habeneros, jalepenos er dragon chilis will turn, the

regular chili's are going too slow

the cucumbers are scarce

the herbs are good though

*sigh*

can't even get the lettuce and spinach to go right, no heat and their

still bolting!

and i don't even want to get into the rest of the plants!

UCK!

Apparently it wasn't- it was the hottest day ever recorded in london

but Cheltenham in 1990 still holds the record at 37 degreees C

(highest today was 'only' 36...)

Fair enough... but I have my doubts about these records.... I distinctly remember a few years ago we had a day that was 38 degrees. The reason I remember that specifically is because I remember thinking that it was hotter than blood temperature!

OK - you're on. Now, where did I put that Sun-Catcher ?

Oooh - here's a thought. Will they let it through customs? Y'know, with all these anti-terrorism laws, they might not like having large flaming balls being loaded onto cargo shipments...

Hmmm - OK. But I'm going to use a false name in case you're really working for customs and just trying to fool me!
