Guest guest
I bet a varied vegan would have to be better for them. Simon The dog I had when I was a kid had a tumour, I think. He had to be put to sleep at eleven years old. He was fed only tinned meat. Jo Years ago as a kid..two dogs in our family, a mother and daughter, both got tumourous cancers. They both died at 11 years ago, they were feed mostly tin food. Guest guest
When the time is right I will befriend a cat/kitten and start it on veggie food. Simon I would feet it on a vegan diet, with the Vegekit and Vegekat supplements that are available through the Vegan Society. Jo
Guest guest
Have you tried them on the veggie food that the Vegan society supply? now I have 2 cats, I would love to feed my cats a vegan diet but cats are very picky, so I look for no by-products in cat food (which is very hard to find)
Guest guest
I'm sure it would be. We also used to let him have chocolates sometimes, which I now understand shouldn't have happened - but it was a long time ago. I still dream about him sometimes, and the funny thing is, in my dream, I'm saying to him 'you're 44 years old now' as though he had never died. Guest guest
I still think of sally & cheeky from time to time....and feel they are not died...physically maybe but not spiritly. we gave them biscuit and part of what we ate..but sadly it was mostly tinned food for them. Simon you'd think cats and dogs would be able to choose wisely what they ate..given cats pickiness and dogs good sense of smell I'm sure it would be.
