Please join in when you can and only share if you are so inclined... no pressure. The more people that do share, the more interesting it is. 1. what is your name? [real name or username, whatever] 2. where are you living? [be as specific as you feel comfortable] 3. do you consider yourself a good cook? 4. what is one of your favorite vegetables? Geographical centre of British Columbia, where it is currently -20*C (-4*F) with a -31*C (-24*F) windchill this morning...and three feet of snow on the ground. Not very spring-ish, I'm afraid. 3. Yes, I think I'm a pretty good cook. I had a belated Mardi Gras dinner for a few people two weekends ago at my house. I made veggie gumbo, cornbread, steamed greens, and sweet potatoes. Everyone told me I was a good cook so I guess I'll believe them. 4. Favourite vegetable... hmmmm, I am huge fan of sweet potatoes (the yellow-y kind) and " yams " (the orange sweet potatoes). I would find it hard to give them up if I was on a desert island. Greens of all kind are on top of my list too, but I'll take the starchy veggies first.
