Guest guest
I appreciate you taking the time to send this list. It's such a help, especially to new vegetarians. Being vegetarian is so much easier now with all the alternative products on the market. Would you make sure to share it with any of the other vegetarian groups? I know members will appreciate it. I'm hooked on Morningstar riblets, Trader Joe's veggie meatballs,Soyrizo, Sunshine burgers and Fry Chik by Worthington and the Worthington Stake. Guest guest
Thank you Donna and PT for your kind words.. There are so many wonderful products and I love folks finding out about them and giving them a try. It really opens up the tastes and recipes that you can made and enjoy as a vegetarian. We just had Morningstar Farms Veggie Bacon Strips for breakfast, along with some omlets with cheese, sauteed mushrooms, onions and bell pepper. A nice glass of orange juice and toast with some raspberry jam spread on it and it was a mouthful of pleasure. http://www.morningstarfarms.com/product_detail.aspx?family=934 & id=352 found in the frozen section of most grocery stores. Oh the vegetarian linke of meat substitute products of Worthington/ Loma Linda Fri-chik, Tender Bits, Swiss Stake, Vegetarian Burger, Scallops, Vegalinks, Big Franks, Linketts are our very favorites. Love the shelf life of these canned products too. Judy - DonnaLilacFlower Sunday, June 14, 2009 11:02 AM Thanks Judy Re: List of Meat Substitutes I appreciate you taking the time to send this list. Guest guest
Try those bacon strips on a BLT sandwich...great! Or, they are good also added to a veg burger with lettuce and tomato. ________________________________ wwjd <jtwigg Sunday, June 14, 2009 1:16:10 PM Re: Thanks Judy Re: List of Meat Substitutes Thank you Donna and PT for your kind words.. Guest guest
I'm not sure I can remember what real bacon tastes like, but I have to agree that the veggie bacon strips are perfect on BLTs! - echolike Sunday, June 14, 2009 1:44 PM Re: Thanks Judy Re: List of Meat Substitutes Try those bacon strips on a BLT sandwich...great!
