I've checked 5 different store (that used to carry them)...nothing. I realized that these stores no longer stock the veggie corn dogs either. Guest guest Posted August 26, 2009 Report Share Posted August 26, 2009 I did a little digging around online and found that the corn dogs (regular and mini) were recalled in May, but Kellogg's was vague about the reason. I found this: http://www.progress.org/gene63.htm and it makes much more sense. Kellogg's (greedy corporate bastards) were using genetically modified corn and soy in their products that were not approved for human consumption. I saw on a vegetarian board somewhere (sorry lost the link) that the veggie dogs have started to show up at some Whole Foods Markets reformulated with all natural ingredients and repackaged. I don' t know if I trust Kellogg's. I might have to search out another brand. Unfortunately, all the stores I have been to in my area do not have alternative veggie hot dogs.
