Guest guest
I'm a very lazy vegan, and am looking to find good companies to buy ready-made dinners which don't taste bad. So far, I've tried Amy's and this one site Veggiebrothers.com. Amy's was a bit too rubbery with the noodles; I kinda hated it. Veggiebrothers was very good, they had BBQ seitan " ribs " which tasted amazing. Man, I wish there were more companies that had good food. Advice, input? I do like to occasionally make some of the simpler recipes but sometimes I don't spending time cooking. Here's some of my favorites: " Kashi " (www.kashi.com) makes a few good vegan frozen dinners. I recommend the Mayan Harvest Bake or Black Bean Mango. (Not all their stuff is veg*n, but everything vegan is labeled). " It's all good " ( http://itsallgoodfoods.com/about/about.asp ) makes some pretty good stuffed vegan " chicken breasts " . I've seen some of their products sold at Trader Joes (under their store label). " Green Guru " makes some really good frozen Thai and Indian dinners. (note not all their stuff is vegan " but it is labeled). Celentano makes vegan Italian entrees (look for their green boxed items). I do really like most of Amy's products I've had; but I've never had any of their noodley things. I'd recommend trying another of their meals before writing them off. (Their vegan black bean and corn enchiladas are my favorite). Also, if you have a Trader Joe's store in your area they usually have good stuff (i.e., vegan sushi) and a few good vegan meals that are easy to make. Hope that helps, Dave http://nodavesclub.blogspot.com

Guest guest
I just had those for dinner last night. They are good and filling, too. Good to know a Texas-gal likes them. I was wondering how " good " they really were since my tastes might be skewed by my northern upbringing. ~ PT ~ , " artichoke72x " <artichoke72x wrote: > > Amy's Black Bean Enchildadas are vegan and they are really good. > > --- On Fri, 9/4/09, vegangrrl5 <vegangrrl5 wrote: > > > vegangrrl5 <vegangrrl5 > Hello, I'm Lazy > > Friday, September 4, 2009, 6:03 PM > > > > > > > I'm a very lazy vegan, and am looking to find good companies to buy ready-made dinners which don't taste bad.
