1. I am thriving on Dr. Atkins' vegetarian, high protein,low-carb diet!

 

2. I believe TPTB are trying to ruin our health & that the studies are lies.

 

3. My triglycerides dropped from 500 to 200 when I quit all breads for 4 weeks!

 

4. I have energy and feel wonderful at 65, after surviving 10 heart attacks!

 

5. I became a vegetarian in 1974, my 3 brothers didn't, they died before 50.

 

6. For my diabetes, I recently started eating cedar berries (24 daily) & insulin

needs dropped by 40 UNITS A DAY!

 

7. A vegan atkins' diet would look like this: Oatmeal, fruit, avocados, nuts &

fresh salads

 

8. I eat the same but also lots of cheese and cream in my coffee and

with fruit and butter in my oatmeal. A bonus - I lost twenty pounds.

 

9. Dr. Atkins' died of a fall and head concussion at 74 and great health.

 

10. Dr. Atkins' website is helpful and free - others charge $$$

 

11. I drink herb teas, especially bee balm & golden rod flower from my yard.

Lowers appetite.

 

12. I do OIL PULLING & it will save the world -- google it! Cold Pressed Oils!

 

 

 

I hope this helps.  I do vegan fasts occasionally. I see vegans with

rotten teeth and vegetarians who are obese and sick.  Be careful. I

feel wonderful! After a year w/o bread, I eat one slice a day.  It's

worth it!

What a wonderful post Les!! As an RN in an adult ICU, 75percent of my pts are

obese with diabetes and heart disease and are shocked when they die from

complications related to their habits. I will copy this and post it at my

hospital.

Hi Les

I'm happy that you feel that you are doing so well on this diet.

 

However, I question whether this should be entitled " Health Tips " . A diet with

" lots of cheese and cream in my coffee and with fruit and butter in my oatmeal "

would not be healthy for many people. Eating LOTS of dairy produce is not

healthy for the arteries nor for cholesterol levels. Your system may be able to

cope - many people's couldn't and proposing this as a heart healthy diet could

be dangerous.

My mother has started started to do the oil pulling and she tells me she feels

great!!!
