I can't wait to try this recipe. I'm not crazy about canned beans, fresh are

always the best

These are great to have on hand. They are wonderful in top of salads,

added to soups and make the best homemade hummus.

I have some black garbanzo beans I will try next.

Seasoned Garbanzo Beans pressure cooker recipe

1 pound bag of garbanzo beans

2 tablespoons olive oil

2 crushed garlic cloves

2 bay leaves, whole

1/4 teaspoon pepper

5 cups water or vegetable broth

Rinsed the chickpeas (garbanzo beans) and check for stones, etc.

Using my pressure cooker, I added the chickpeas, the crushed garlic cloves, oil,

bay leaves and pepper, then add water.

Close PC and put on high flame until pressure builds, reduce heat to low and

cook for about 50 minutes. Release pressure, put PC under cold running water

until pressure is all released and ready to open.

Stir, add salt if needed. Just that easy.

Don't be angry with life. There are so many things to be happy for.Cold, fresh

water, green leaves, and the eyes of good people.
