" Lentil Loaf "

1 c lentils

3 c veg broth

2 c oats (quick or old fashioned both work)

1 c ketchup

2 heaping tbsp mayonnaise (vegan version)

1 tbsp worchestershire sauce (vegan version)

2 tbsp soy sauce

1 tbsp minced garlic

1/2 cup sliced almonds

Bring the broth to a boil and add lentils. Simmer 20 minutes. Turn off

Stir well and place in a

Hi Donna

I think you know that this is one of my all time favourite recipes. Yummmmmmmy

I love it cold in sandwiches or hot with dinner or just to nibble on when I've

got the munchies. Fortunately my husband does not appreciate it so it's all

mine. It freezes great too.

Oh yeah! Love this recipe and when I make it

I will often double it just so we have leftovers.

I like to slice and freeze individual pieces for

quick, easy lunchbox sandwich fillers for work.

Make some garlic mashed potatoes and some

green bean casserole for pure comfort food

heaven!

I have made this loaf several times. It is yummy!! Make some homemade mashed

potatoes and fresh greens and you have a nice home cooked meal.

Hugs,

I'm making one today. So many recipes so little time, it's time for this one

again. It sure does freeze well.

This is a good one!  I make it with mushroom gravy.  Yum!  Comfort food.  I need

to make this again soon.  I shared this recipe with a lady at work and it has

become a family favorite at her house. Make sure to let it sit and cool a bit

before slicing.  Thanks for reminding me of this one Donna.
