Making your own veggie sausage patties?

These are too expensive in the store, has anyone had much success making their

own? I'm using reconstituted TVP seasoned with salt, Poultry seasoning and red

pepper flakes, but can't get them to stick together for frying, even with an

egg. Is there something else I'm missing?

Do you use any flour to bind the ingredients in the recipe? Here's a

The muffin tin gave me an idea....I put a couple tablespoons of the mixture into

each cup, pressed it down evenly, and froze it overnight. In the morning, I

cooked the frozen patties in hot oil until browned on both sides. Perfect! No

baking in oven required. Thank you so much for the link to the recipe, it is

very similar to what I came up with.
