Guest guest
Hi Everyone! I am traveling to Europe for a week without my nursing toddler(she will be 19 mos at the time of travel). I am nervous that she will wean if I am away that long and will I dry up. We nurse about 3 times a day now and I want to continue until she is at least two years. Any advice? Guest guest
To keep up with your supply, you would have to pump while away...dont think there is any alternative than that. Not sure if a week of being apart is enough to wean a baby...i guess someone can comment on that? ________________________________ pilinbroden <pilinbroden Wednesday, May 13, 2009 11:20:04 AM Traveling without nursing toddler Hi Everyone! Guest guest
pump pump pump (if you can) There are bottles that resemble the breast (Breast Bottle Nurser, I think) that may work in your absence. Is your child using a cup? Are you nursing for major meals, or is much of the nutrition coming from food? As for your child weaning, my daughter has been weaned for 6 months and she still asks to nurse sometimes Enjoy your trip.
