Guest guest
What is wrong with people? Seriously. Ugh. , " iluvk5 " <skerns wrote: > > I don't even have words for this one... > > >
Guest guest
Shock value. That's all these people are after. Apparently shocking the public works, because it gets everyone's attention. And after all, we live in a society where shock and awe over-ride morals and decency. However, the meat industry isn't the only one doing this, vegetarians are also guilty of it. Look at " Skinny Bitch " and PETA having women take their clothes off to pose or run through the streets. Both trying to achieve sales in the same way that White Castle is doing it. Through shock value. All ridiculous and none should be supported for treating the public in this manner. That's my two cents... Guest guest
I agree Jacqueline, and discontinued my PETA membership becasue of it. I DID order the kids' kit PETA had, and found some of it to be totally inappropriate for my kids- namely the stickers with the evil-looking Ronald McDonald with a bloody knife, etc (like clowns need any help looking evil- they do fine on their own!). It's too bad- good message, bad tactics. j. ________________________________ Jacqueline Bodnar <jb Monday, June 1, 2009 6:07:54 AM RE: Re: New White Castle Commercial Shock value. Guest guest
I honestly don't think this commercial is about shock value at all for most Americans. Many people will just think this is funny. They really don't get it that pouring BBQ sauce on a dead body and eating it is completely disgusting. , " Jacqueline Bodnar " <jb wrote: > > > Shock value. That's all these people are after.
