Christina cooks

What a great Web site this is! I always love stories

of people who have cured diseases just by changing

their diets. And the recipes look wonderful, I'm

trying the red curry tofu tomorrow night!

It was good, but really, really hot. It called for

both red curry paste and pepper sauce, and I left the

pepper sauce out and it was still really spicy. But

good. I'd like to try it again with some different

veggies and less heat. The tofu part was excellent,

though!

ya know, you may want to use green curry paste. I have found red to be too hot,

green is just right.

Does anyone else watch Christina Cooks?

I love that show! I tape it each week so that I never miss a show. I

also to her newsletter. I just got this month's addition this

morning. In her article on compassion she discusses the Skinny Bitch

series. I mention that here because we have debated/discussed it on this

list. (I agree with Christina).

Anyway, if you don't know her, she is a wonderful vegan cook. Her show

is great and teaches you healthy vegan recipes. She also has books out

and you can sign up for her free newsletter at www.christinacooks.com.

You can download her latest newsletter here (which has the compassion

article):

Cheers,

Jacqueline

I just finished reading her book (got it from our library) This Crazy

Vegan Life. :) I really liked it. I think I caught her show only a few

times, but never consistently I like her. Thanks for this.

I've been watching Christina Cooks on PBS for several years (and have some of

her cook books). It's a great show, very much worth the taping.

I also watch (and tape) Delicious TV's Totally Vegetarian (with Toni Fiori) on

PBS. It's sponsored by VRG (Thanks, VRG!!). It's also very well done.

Try visiting your local PBS station's WEB site and do a search in the TV

listings.
