I'm starting a new job at the beginning of September, but so long as I'm not swamped with work, I'm planning to attend the DC VegFest. Hope to see you there! We would like to meet up with others and picnic on the university grounds. It would be great to put a few faces to names. I thinking since it starts later in the afternoon that we have a simple picnic brunch before start time that way anyone needing to leave early to get back on the road are not left out. We use to live on Bolling AFB, before my hubby retired from the navy. My veggie spot in the VA/DC area is the Sunflower. Have you tried them yet. You will not be disappointed.
