Honestly, we don't like it. We like the company (Chicago Soydairy). We like

their ice " creams. " We can't wait to try their new marshmallows. But not

Teeze. My kids will not eat it. Sorry!

I really like it! They finally started selling it at our Whole Foods

(they sell it at a couple in the city, and use it for their vegan

pizzas and at one that has a pizza by the slice -at the whole foods

that have the pizza place and the by the slice place in the Loop

-downtown Chicago).

I picked some up last time we ran out of our Rella, and I really liked

it. I think the texture is good, it's melty, too! My son was happy to

eat it on crackers, too. Our co-op doesn't sell it (but Teese is local

to us, so I'm happy it's finally available in the store) but our co-op

does sell Vegan Rella, which I much prefer over Follow Your Heart

hands down for texture and meltability, though YMMV. In case they have

that. If they were comparable in price, I would be hard pressed to

choose between the Rella and the Teese (though I'd probably go w/ the

Teese since it's local). I don't like to shop at WF too much, so I

keep forgetting ti's there, and I've pretty much finished our shopping

for the month with our last co-op order and Market Day, and I'm

working on signing up for helping out with coordinating the CSA stuff

at my son's school (should be easy enough since I already do similar

things with my co-op). :)

We love the Teez cheese. It melts extremely well, and is tasty. Sticky Fingers

bakery in DC was the first place I found this product. They use it in their

grilled cheese and quesadillas too! MOM's does carry Follow Your Heart.

We also like Daiya -it's not soy, does melt and only comes shredded. You can

find it @ Roots.

Err, It's in the South Loop - 1101 S. Canal St - It's the Whole Foods

on Canal St. near Roosevelt, in some big shopping center thing there.

My husband said it takes 5min's by bike from his office (He's just

west of the center of the loop -a few blocks south of randolph and

jefferson )

Yeah - I don't know if it's one of the cool ones with the stone pizza

oven in it or not like the one off Halsted (I've not been to it, but

my husband has). But it makes sense they'd do it by the slice at that

location for the lunch crowd, and I'm all for more vegan dining

options.:)
