Guest guest
I came across this article which makes me even more proud to say that I am a vegetarian, and I live with as lite a foot print as possible. http://www.nytimes.com/2009/09/10/science/10fish.html?no_interstitial It is a good article, unfortunantly many people will only see the heads of corporations looking at it in a positive light. I wish more people could see the devistation the fishing industry has on the worlds oceans. Just wanted to share this with everyone. Guest guest
Thanks, Amity, for posting this. I read the article last week. I bet sales of fish filet sandwiches dropped after that article was published. Speaking of ecological footprints, I've measured mine on various sites and am always amazed at how little weight they give to a vegan diet versus what type of vehicle you drive (electric, gas, etc.), for example. And I wonder how they come up with their data.
