Guest guest
Our family is taking a weekend trip to Williamsburg. This is a time share presentation that my husband signed up for before I could stop him! The hotel does not have a in room fridge or microwave. They said they have a staff fridge and microwave in the lobby. I found an Indian restaurant and a Chinese place that both say they serve mainly meat and only have a few veggies on the menu. If anyone has any advice, suggestions for our short stay, please feel free to chime in. I'm firing up the deydrator and hoping to shed a few pounds on this trip!! lol Thanks for your help. Guest guest
My family just took a trip to Willaimsburg back in September. We found an awesome restaurant there with quite a bit of veg dishes. I LOVED it! Here is their link to check it out. http://www.foodforthoughtrestaurant.com/inner.html Enjoy! Guest guest
We were in W'burg this past summer and can echo our love for Food for Thought. The Indian place is pretty good and there is also a Trader Joe's, which made in room eating easier. Even the Pizzeria Uno at the end of the street our timeshare was on had a veggie burger and whole wheat pasta marinara, so we ate there one night when we were tired and didn't want to go back out. The restaurant we ate at in Colonial Williamsburg made me an entirely vegan meal including dessert, so it is possible (though not shown on the menu). It was a lot of fun, period costumes and singing and whatnot, but my meal was priced as outrageously as the regular menu items, so get ready to be fleeced if you're going there. Enjoy!
