I had to laugh tonight when I was talking with my 11 year old son about what we

should have for Thanksgiving dinner. I said one option is that we could go more

traditional and have stuffing and gravy and maybe something like Tofurkey.

He said he didn't know what stuffing tastes like and asked me what gravy is!

I think it's funny because most kids are quite familiar with gravy. But, not in

this vegetarian home although I know I can make a delicious veggie gravy. Maybe

we'll do that...

that is so funny! When my daughter was in preschool, she refused to eat their

bread because it was white and didn't have any flavor. I would up sending her

with a lunch most days...

We make mushroom gravy here and eat it with mashed potatoes and nut loaf.
