Guest guest
Thanks to all of you who responded with suggestions for the vegan multivitamin drops. It was extremely helpful. Our daughter's pediatrician, who tends toward natual remedies, has also suggested giving our daughter a cinnamon supplement to help get her iron up a bit instead of using a regular iron supplement. His reasons were that it would likely be more gentle on her system and there would not be as much danger of going the other way and getting too much iron. Does anyone here have any experience with using cinnamon to boost iron levels? I have been looking into what I can get that is vegan and in liquid form. From what I have read, it seems that I would not want to get her the cassia cinnamon because of toxicity issues. Does anyone here know what kind of cinnamon supplement would be safest for a 21 pound 13 month old and what the dosage would be? Thanks again for all your help. Shylah P.S. I could swear this was the list where I recently saw a posting from someone who was a naturopathic midwife or doctor, but of course now that I am looking for that message I can't find it...if that person is on here and would not mind a couple of questions, please message me and let me know who you are. Thanks.
