[veg_grp] ISO Restaurant suggestions in Orange County, CA

We will be traveling to Laguna Woods to visit my mom for a few days. If

anyone has suggestions for restaurants, things to do, etc., we are open.

Last year, we went to Dana Point, Old Town San Diego, Temecula, Laguna

Beach.

We are not amusement park people...

Thank you!!

Hi Robin,

Oh, first you must, must, must try Native Foods (www.nativefoods.com

<http://www.nativefoods.com/> ). They have a couple different locations

in OC, and tons of wonderful food (I would literally eat there 3 times a

day if we lived closer!!!), I have not had anything there that wasn't

wonderful - our son loves the food there, too. And if you like

Vietnamese food, Au Lac is wonderful (www.aulac.com

<http://www.aulac.com/> ), but check times as they close for some

strange time in the middle of day like 3:33 to 5:33 pm I think it is

:-). And Au Lac can be pricey, but for a nice meal, it's great. And

for Thai food, my partner loves Wheel of Life

(www.wheelofliferestaurant.com <http://www.wheelofliferestaurant.com/>

). He used to work in OC and ate at these 3 restaurants more than

anything else. All 3 are vegan. And you'll find tons of other Asian

places and lots of veg-friendly places, but these are really the 3 very

best ones.

Have a great trip!
