Hope for strong winds for a week? Were the skunks under your house? If so,

be sure to close up any under the house openings. Sorry not to be able to help

get rid of the smell but sure do feel sorry for you!

I apologize for the email blast, but we are getting desperate.

It appears that our house is the casualty of a skunk war. It smells awful! We

put out some heavy-duty odor absorbers and have been spraying Ozium and

Febreeze. The stench is better, but still really awful.

I am open to any and all suggestions (short of arson).

Thank you!!

Hi Robin,

You could try an air purifier. We got ours at Home Depot during the

fires here in Southern CA a couple years ago, and after a while, the

inside of our house didn't smell of smoke anymore and we all breathed

better.

Best of luck! I guess tomato juice bath for your house won't likely be

very affordable . :-)

Hi, sorry I don't have suggestions for the smell but if the skunks are still

around, I saw a part of a special on skunks. It said skunks don't like base

music so at dusk, take a stereo and put it on the ground with heavy base and

blast it and the skunks will go away. Also, if there are feral cats around,

skunks and cats pal around and are more likely to congregate in the area. Hope

the smell dissipates soon!
