Gluten free pizza at Uno Chicago Grill Update

I called our local Unos in Indianapolis (Castleton location) and was told they'd

have the gluten free pizza on their menu by Tues, Jan 20th and the price is real

comparable to the reg pizzas, maybe a $1 more. I am so happy! I can now go out

for pizza again like a real person!

ALL of the Unos are getting the GF pizza this wek or next. That's why I called

to get the exact date of ours!

After sending this I started checking out the site for any changes. The gf

crust contains egg, so it is no longer vegan! Sorry fellow egglessers!

we discovered a pizza chain that makes vegan and gluten free pizzas.

It's called Pizza Fusion

Unfortunately their gfcf pizza base contains eggs so I couldn't try it

and their vegan pizza base contains gluten. However, my kids will

eat eggs so they tried the pizzas and said they were splendid. This

was the first time my kids have ever had a pizza that I have not

made. They had pizza for lunch, then asked for take out for dinner

and for dinner the following night (then we left Atlanta and the pizza

was no more. LOL)

 

I didn't taste the soy cheese as I can't eat soy but my son says it

tasted really good.
