I also take Vitamin B complex from GNC a couple times a week, Source of Life Multi a couple days. Iron every day (prescribed) but I do have a few days with no multi vitamin just try to eat more produce those days! ---
Guest guest
Hello all. I don't know if this question has come up recently or not -- I tried to search and got an error message. Does anyone know a good source -- a brand name or an online seller -- of gluten-free vegan vitamins? I have the hardest time with this. I try to get supplements but often fine animals products, gelatin and other weird ingredients. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Guest guest
Have you checked Nature made vitamins? The others that I use are HyVee (store brand). They seem to be fine adn I am super sensitive to everything and haven't had any reactions with either one of those brands. Hope that helps. Guest guest
I dont know if this will really help, but my local grocery store called Wegmans has its own line of vitamins that is vegan & gluten free which is pretty sweet- but Celiac.com has a gluten free " mall " that you might want to check out - they give a ton of information about each type of vitamin. Good luck! , " vlwsmom " <yelae wrote: > > Hello all. I don't know if this question has come up recently or not -- I tried to search and got an error message. Guest guest
I use Dr Fuhrman's products, www.drfuhrman.com. They are pricer than average, however, they are vegan and the formulations are based on the most current research. For example, there is no vitamin A or betacarotene in his multivitamin because the latest research has shown them to be carcinogenic in supplement form. Guest guest
Thanks for the comments so far. Any others would be great as well. I will check Wegmans and drfuhrman. Thanks! Nature Made uses gelatin in A LOT of their products. It isn't vegetarian. I e-mailed them about it. They usually list it as non-bovine gelatin. Ick. Guest guest
Have you checked out vitamin code vitamins? They are raw, vegan, etc. They are suppose to be better than most. They have some different formulas for women, men, over 50, etc. They are a little expensive but good quality. You can find them in health food stores and I think vitacost.com still carries them as well. I use to take Juice for Life which is actually pills and it's gluten free, vegan and has probiotics. Unfortunately I haven't been able to find it anywhere for the past few months so I had to move on. If you can find them they are cheaper than the vitamin code ones and just as good in my opinion! Guest guest
Many Solgar products are labeled vegetarian. ALmost anything in a capsule has gelatin. It can be difficult. Patty
Guest guest
Thanks! I will check these out as well. I just don't understand why more companies don't use vegetarian capsules. It would make it so much easier for a great many people. Thank you again. , Jae Jones <recyclednew wrote: > > Have you checked out vitamin code vitamins?
