Guest guest
I'm wondering what kind of ice cream makers anyone has tried successfully to make vegan ice creams. My dd has a birthday soon and our local parks and rec department has a machine they rent out. Considering giving it a try! It does contain soy in the form of tocopherols for preservation if that's of concern to people but it is an excellent alternative to peanut butter, especially for school lunches in facilities that do not allow peanut butter. The sample packs are actually available for purchase, containing 1 tbsp and are perfect for brown bagging. Guest guest
This is the one you want: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B000MX05HS It's a Cuisinart and it's SO easy! Put the ingredients in(after chilling), turn it on and you have ice cream in less than half an hour. And get this book: http://www.amazon.com/Vice-Cream-Gourmet-Vegan-Desserts/dp/1587611996/ref=sr_1_1\ ?ie=UTF8 & s=books & qid=1242345714 & sr=8-1 It's called Vice Cream. Yum, yum, yum! Good luck! -Valerie --- On Thu, 5/14/09, Mary Williams-Pepin <calimaryvegan wrote: Mary Williams-Pepin <calimaryvegan Question about ice cream makers Thursday, May 14, 2009, 3:31 PM I'm wondering what kind of ice cream makers anyone has tried successfully to make vegan ice creams. Guest guest
I use a cuisinart for my ice cream. I use either coconut milk or heavy cream, agave and whatever flavor I want it to be. pat --- On Thu, 5/14/09, Mary Williams-Pepin <calimaryvegan wrote: Mary Williams-Pepin <calimaryvegan Question about ice cream makers Thursday, May 14, 2009, 6:31 PM I'm wondering what kind of ice cream makers anyone has tried successfully to make vegan ice creams.
