Guest guest
many foods are now fortified with B-12 - some brands of nutritional yeast, a lot of soy milk, soy products, cereals, etc. All non-animal. , Danielle <daniellej0> wrote: > > " ...vitamin B-12, which is important in energy metabolism, is found only in animal products. Vegans and extreme vegetarians, IMNSHO, absolutely should supplement with a liquid, or sublingual tablet. Any veg*n website will support this, and have the research sources to back it up. Anyone who tried to go vegan but failed around 5 years most likely failed because they weren't taking b12. The body's store of it will typically run out in 4-6 years. It's crucial for many other things besides metabolism. ~Doh -------- " The animals of the world exist for their own reasons.
