I am STILL receiving messages!!!!

Please,...figure out what is going on because I have removed myself from the

group and wish NOT to receive any more messages.

Thank You!!!

Unfortunately this is what happens with . It takes up to

72 hours plus for them to get the major domo to stop sending messages

once someone unsubs. They only way to stop receiving messages until

they have you off their send to list is to make a formula which sends

such message directly to the trash.

The moderators can't do anything to make it go more quickly.

Yes, so true --- thanks Brenda Lee.

In this case, I don't think the individual had actually checked the

unsub box, though, or at least didn't finish the process. They were

still subbed in --- as normal.

It would be nice if they could ask for help a little more gently,

don't you think?

Yes passive voice is often much more kind. :-)

Often it is just one missed step. I figured she might not have

completed the process since she could still post to the group. One

cannot post if one has unsubbed successfully.

And one can always contact the owner directly for assistance by

sending a message to groupname-owner - that's if the

unsub directs at the bottom of every message don't work.
