It is nice to be able to use what is on hand so I will likely try out the GF oats first. Seems like they will be visually discreet in the lighter colored dishes. My waffles are too heavy/dense to make breadcrumbs with but perhaps in time I will find a lighter recipe. Thanks for all the excellent ideas!
