thought I'd pass on the info about a gingerbread house kit I discovered this

morning. It is gluten, soy, egg, dairy, sesame, peanut and tree nut free.

It does however contain corn (they use Jules' gf flour)

I'm going to buy one later today. My kids have no memory of ever building

gingerbread houses.

Before they were dx'd with celiac disease, I'd always build a gf dreidel with

them. this year I think we'll turn the house into a blue and white Hanukkah

house.

That's a great idea! Thanks for sharing the info. Maybe they will be on sale

after the holidays & I can get 1 to make a spring house. :-)

I am SO EXCITED about this house! We'll be moving around the holidays, and

this provides us a way to celebrate when we can't do a lot of the

traditional stuff. :D

The little decorating do-dads it comes with are cute and retro... I just

can't get over the $30 price tag on it...

You know, I totally believe the Columbia U. study that came out this past

year and said gf specialty foods are, on average, three times as expensive

as non-gf. But I'm still pumped about getting one of those gingerbread

houses. :D
