Guest guest Posted January 22, 2006 Report Share Posted January 22, 2006 HI: I would think if you pressed your tofu, then sliced it about 1/4 " think you could bread it like a chicken cutlet. You could use shake and bake or make your own breading. Pressing the tofu gets all the liquid out and makes the tofu not mushy. They where round, like a donut hole and had a glaze on them made out of powdered sugar and I don't remember what else. These where full of wheat/dairy/eggs, so if you know of/have a recipe like this that isn't gf or vegan, please send it to me anyway. I'd really like to try to convert the recipe to gf vegan. I clearly recall the taste of these cookies and have been craving them! I've searched online and in cookbooks and begged my grandmother for the recipe, who claims she lost it!
