Soap making?

I was thinking about starting to make my own soaps and I was wondering if anyone

here does, and if so where can I find supplies that are vegan, gf & corn free. I

have essential oils & herbs and I do have a few molds as I was thinking about

doing this for quiet some time. I'm just still a little confused about the main

products to use as in " what is safe? " , so any help is much appreciated! :-)

Also, on a similar note, I was wondering about laundry detergent. Can I make my

own? I can't find any that is a 100% safe and it's too cold to run around naked.

lol

Thanks!

SAL SUDS is not soap based and does contain SLS which is typically petroleum

based and caustic - theirs is made from coconut oil and biodegradeable:

(This came up in previous conversations in other groups, so wanted to throw that

out there)
