Guest guest
I recently wrote to the company inquiring about corn in their products. Apparently all their products, including tofu, contain corn! For anyone who needs to know.... ---------- Forwarded message ---------- Customer Service <cs1 Mon, Dec 7, 2009 at 2:23 PM Re: Comments from Jae recyclednew Dear Jae, Mori-Nu Mates Lemon Crème contains maltodextrin derived from corn starch. In addition, all Mori-Nu Mates mixes are designed to be blended only with Mori-Nu Silken Tofu. All varieties of Mori-Nu Silken Tofu are made with gluconolactone, a non-dairy coagulant derived from corn starch. If you are allergic to corn, we do not recommend any of our products for you. We are sorry for the inconvenience. Guest guest
It doesn't effect me, but in what form is the corn? Why would tofu need to have corn? Or is it a cross contamination issue where they process corn as well in their factory? Just interested if you found out.
