I recently wrote to the company inquiring about corn in their products.

Apparently all their products, including tofu, contain corn!

For anyone who needs to know....

Dear Jae,

Mori-Nu Mates Lemon Crème contains maltodextrin derived from corn starch.

In addition, all Mori-Nu Mates mixes are designed to be blended only with

Mori-Nu Silken Tofu. All varieties of Mori-Nu Silken Tofu are made with

gluconolactone, a non-dairy coagulant derived from corn starch. If you are

allergic to corn, we do not recommend any of our products for you. We are

sorry for the inconvenience.

Sincerely,

Customer Service

It doesn't effect me, but in what form is the corn? Why would tofu need to have

corn? Or is it a cross contamination issue where they process corn as well in

their factory? Just interested if you found out.

The e-mail said that the coagulant was corn-derived.
