Guest guest
I wanted to say thank you to everyone who gave me such good advice on the bread. I used smaller pans and a thermonator and made " white " bread, banana bread and ginger bread for the family which all came out good. Question, the ginger bread came out good but no one really liked it to strong of a taste. Any suggestions on what to do with it. Guest guest
you could use crumbs for the base to an apple or mince " meat " cookie bar, crumble over apple crisp, frozen or refrigerated yogurt or pudding and maybe use crumbs to make a pie crust like graham cracker. It might add a different flavor to a stew as thickening. Worse case might be as crumbs to feed the birds......... Guest guest
I was going to suggest bread pudding as well. Mimiccreme, hemp milk, and nut milk all work as a binder, especially combined with two flax gel 'eggs.' With some pumpkin to tame the spiciness of your bread, and perhaps some chocolate chips or raisins (or raisins and rum?), you'd certainly have a dessert I'd be happy to eat. Guest guest
A cookie bar sounds good. Guest guest
Okay, I'm not good at bread pudding. It came out awful. Good news is I only used half the ginger bread and I remembered my mom likes ginger bread so she is getting the rest. I also remembered when I liked it back when I could put heavy cream on it. I don't miss cream at all.
