Guest guest
This recipe is GFCFSFEF Cornfree, but can also be made with a regular cereal... GFCFSFEF Corn Free Chocolate Cashew Butter Rice Krispy Treats I created these for breakfast today and they were yummy! They made (8) large size bars that were soft and chewy. Anything can be added to these...nuts, chocolate chips, dried fruit, etc... 1/2 cup honey or agave syrup 1/2 cashew butter or any nut butter 1/3 cup brown sugar 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg 1 tablespoon cocoa or carob 1/8 teaspoon sea salt 2 tablespoons raw coconut flakes 1 teaspoon GF vanilla 3 cups GF brown rice crisp cereal 1/4 cup organic sunflower seeds 2 tablespoons organic flax seeds In a saucepan, combine the agave, cashew butter, and brown sugar over medium low heat. Stir until melted. Add the cinnamon, nutmeg, salt, cocoa, and coconut, and bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Turn off the heat and add the vanilla, and remaining items. Stir until combined, and put in a 9 X 11 glass baking dish. Let cool and cut into squares. Chris www.trulynaturalmixes.com
