Guest guest
Remember, the actual, biological " period " is the sloughing off of the unfertilized egg and related material ... a small volume of material, bloodless in a healthy woman. This is a woman's genuine, natural, biological " period " . In contrast, the bleeding and related symptoms that most women experience and CALL their " period " are a cleansing event. In the face of overwhelming chronic toxic overload, the body presses into service this very large highway as an avenue for removal of trash. In a very healthy woman, there is no overload to remove, hence no bleeding. In a woman with very low body fat, the hormonal production is inhibited, as the body is in a severely chronically depleted state and cannot healthfully sustain certain activities. Those activities unnecessary for survival and hoped-for replenishment are diminished or shut down altogether. Reproductive activity certainly qualifies for such a partial or complete shutdown. In addition, in a woman who is very active, the respiratory system may carry an expanded portion of the eliminative load. Finally, in a woman with very low body fat, there may be insufficient resources for the body to generate otherwise-necessary cleansing events. This discussion is analogous to a discussion about the appearance or lack of appearance of simple " colds " . There are two classes of people who do not have colds: the very healthy, because they require no such elimination, and the very sick, because they are incapable of such elimination. Hope this cleans up this discussion!!! If you have a low percentage of body fat, that seems healthy, so the body naturally stops the monthly, so does that mean it is ok?
Guest guest
In other words if the cessation of bleeding during menstrual cycles is due to too low body fat (like in atheletes) that is no healthy or natural. It also should be noted that most atheletes eat some variation of a SAD diet, so we would have no reason to believe that they are exceptionally healthy. But in the case of these so called, healthy women that have cessation of bleeding during menstrual cycles (in particularly the 80-10-10ers or something similar) how do you know that they too are experiancing the cessation of bleeding during menstrual cycles is due to low body fat or some other reason that is not healthy. I believe in both cases there is a very good possiblity that something about the body isn't quite right. The example given here for a cold could be the same for menstrual cycles. Perhaps the women that do not bleed during menstrual cycles are so unhealthy that they cannot bleed and discharge the uterine lining that will not be needed. And the body is forced to either keep it or reabsorb it, when it really should have discharged it. Or perhaps the uterus never prepared properly to receive a fertile egg to begin with, thus nothing to discharge. I think it unwise to assume that anytime the flow of blood during mentrual cycle stops, that it is a sign that the body is in a perfect and normal state of health. (unless of course, the reason is due to menapause) But it is a very interesting concept that women can be fertile and go through normal reproductive cycles and never bleed. I just beleive for most women, this would not be the case. But sure wish it were, I would like to sign up for that for sure. Does anyone have any history on healthy women anywhere at anytime that did not bleed during menstrual cycles? If not, then are we to conclude that there never has been truely healthy women eating a truely natural and healthy diet, living a truely natural healthy life?
