Guest guest
Hi. I am a new member of this group and a brand new person to the raw food diet. I need to know if anyone can tell me what exactly is in the " green juice " that I hear is part of most peoples daily menu. And if I can make it from home items or if I have to buy a special mix. Thank you! ~Susan
Guest guest
I think it can be just about anything. It can be wheat grass, or a green smoothie. For a smoothie all you really need is a good blender. I use a dark green leafy vegetable like spinach. Some people use kale. Then I add whatever fresh fruit looks good. Maybe a mango, couple of bananas. I might add filtered water, coconut water, or juice if its too thick. Sometimes I'll freeze the bananas ahead of time. There are tons of ideas out on the net. The idea is to not make it difficult. The idea is to keep it simple. Just make it healthy and make it taste good. Guest guest
Are you getting enough fresh fruits? They should help you with fatigue. Guest guest
I too am very fatigued. Even my brain feels tired. I can't blame it my veggie diet (4 months) because I eat better now then I ever did. I take a multivitamin daily and a b12 every other day. I get stressed and I have winter depression. (low light) I believe that is where my fatigue comes from. If we don't feel better soon maybe we should see the doctor. Good luck. I love animals, and it has been bothering me for quite awhile. The only thing bothering me is that I've been unbelievably tired. I read that vegetarians need B12 if they are not eating meat. I began taking a product called Triple Boost by Irwin Naturals. The B vitamin levels are very high. Yet I still feel very fatigued. I am curious to know if anyone else experienced fatigue, and would appreciate any suggestions.
