My VistaPrint Electronic Business CardHi friends,

I'm not sure what to do with the tops (leaves) of the carrots...do you juice

them or toss them away?

Thanks ~ Jackie

I would juice them up along with the carrots. I know that for beats,

a lot of the vitamin A (I think) is stored in the leaves, and so if

you throw them out you miss out.

Give them a try and see what you think, but in any case I don't think

they have any toxins in them.

- I just did a quick google search and nothing negative came up - in

fact, lots of positive stuff came up, so juice away! I've always

included them when juicing.

Eat them whole, they are considerably " better " for you. But carrots are not

among our species' ideal foods, they grow underground and are high in

starches. Food for grubbers.
