Guest guest
I read the articles you posted...very informative and I must say not all that unexpected. I guess it explains in a large way why all those soy-burger eating vegetarians always look so sickly and overweight! You know, I'm probably not supposed to be eating rolled oats either! That's the only reason I have the soy milk. But I am sure someone could find reason not to drink coconut milk either. But I did justify the soy milk for the B12 and D it is fortified with. So Neal you recommended coconut milk...care to highlight its benefits? Can anyone un-recommend it? Guest guest
My bad on the rolled oats too.... Didn't even realize till walking with my raw chef friend the other day offering him trail mix I made with them and he was like.... " umm, huh, Colby, you know those are cooked? " I thought they were just rolled groats. Whatever, I got a bag and I'm using them up. Almond Milk is what I use. 1 cup almonds soaked overnight blend them and the soaking water strain in a Nut milk bag (corner of a pillow case, clean sock whatever) add water to desired consistency, toss in vanilla (real, no alcohol) cinnamon, maple, agave, whatever. Its good stuff. I was having breakfast with GF and parents the other day... said, " babe, You want some nut milk on your cereal, its fresh " (keep in mind they are not all accustomed to my new lifestyle yet) She said... " ummm? what? " Dad said " We dont talk like that in this family, not sure where you picked up such a filthy mouth " Mom said " Who has a filthy mouth? Colby whats that your making in the kitchen? " I explained and we all had a good laugh, followed by several jokes. Almond milk might be lacking something you need in the soy I dont know. And I'm new at this so... rawfood , " Joe Postma " <joepostma wrote: > > I read the articles you posted...very informative and I must say not > all that unexpected.
