Guest guest
Yep, I agree ... and I did, until I reached that point where they no longer taste good, but rather irritating. That's when I stopped, of course. But I still maintain some recipes to share with others. This one is GREAT for SAD eaters, they actually think it's just really good, creamy hummus. Guest guest
Hi all, I usually just read the posts and enjoy the information I get hear. I am fairly new to raw food; I don't have a dehydrator or juicer. I eat whole raw foods, can't afford to buy all the gadgets right now. I keep seeing references to SAD eaters, when I web search this I get eating disorders....what does this mean in the raw food world? Please and thank you Trish rawfood , " Elchanan " <Elchanan wrote: > > Yep, I agree ... and I did, until I reached that point where they no longer > taste good, but rather irritating. Guest guest
Horse poo. The two aren't the same as: A.) Our DNA proves there is no such thing as race. We are all one race: human. B.) We don't have a choice as to the natural color of our hair, skin, eyes, but we can indeed choose what we ingest. and C.) The belittling lies with the individual who has the choice to see it as belittling or simply as silly initials implying a phrase. We could call it CAD = Common American Diet? It's funny, I think it's cute that it spells out SAD, but I honestly don't think it's intentional or to insult people. I've actually never heard it used to belittle people. It just happens to be the acronym for " Standard American Diet " , which is hefty to type. Ironic how it works out, but I never have thought of it as a prejudice or judgement call. Most SAD-eaters know their diets are not healthy, too. They just don't care about health in the same way, etc. Erica

A food processor can be found new for $25 - $30 if you don't already have one. It's the greatest and you can do A LOT with them. Ditto for a good blender, which you probably have. I have an expensive juicer, but use my $50 Juiceman Jr so much more. :-) Erica
