effective. it is actually THE FAST!i am planing to do

one in August.this time i will do one week for sure.as

a whole i am satify what i did and really enjoyed my

hiking after having a lot of energy!part of me want

I am only 1 day into my fast, and already I am smelling the ketone's

on my breath! I have read in places that your body gets used to the

" idea " of fasting and enters them more quickly once accustomed...is

this true in anyone else's experience?

The ketone's smell like rubbing alcohol, as acetone is the active

ingredient in my mom's finger nail polish remover (don't worry I

didn't used to huff it as a kid lol!, just remember it...come to think

of it, I must be dating girls who just let their polish flake off

because I haven't smelled it in years, even though there's a bottle

someone left in my shaving cabinet) and is obviously a member of the

ketone family.

I haven't planned how long I am going to go. Not likely more than 8

days though, but I'll just go with the flow and enjoy the experience.

Maybe I'll post to this thread if anything interesting happens.

Have the best day ever! :)

It's possible to get non-acetone, or acetone-free nail polish remover these

days.

Good luck with your fast :o)

Any advice or contraindications for doing a fast while breastfeeding a six month

old?
