You can get broccoli, alfalfa, radish, garden blends, etc. They are all the grassy kind. Then there is Sunflower and Buckwheat, the leafy green kind. Guest guest
Just found another great sprouty website: sproutpeople.com. And yes you can juice your sprouts. Throw a handful in with your other veg/fruit. Though I prefer to munch them so I get all the live enzymes before they get a chance to oxidize. I just read that sunflower sprouts are not half as good if grown without soil, so I guess they're not quite as easy to grow as broccoli sprouts for example. I've been inspired to go and but a tray sprouter after all this sprout talk. Katya.

Guest guest
Can be included in a blend. Juicing would waste almost the entire sprout ... not enough water content. Can sprouts be juiced? I was thinking it would be a great way to disguise the taste. Susanne
Guest guest
I love sprouts! We are lucky enough to have a sprout farmer (?) at our farmer's market. They offer 20 to 30 different sprouts each week. I especially like lentils, sunflower, broccoli, black eyed peas, black beans, I can keep going on. My all time favorite are onion sprouts (and I don't even like onions!). I put three or four different sprouts on my salads. I like the crunch and texture. I especially love to put onion sprouts on my raw soups... Best, Gary rawfood , " Erica " <schoolofrawk wrote: > > > > Erica, > > > > I have only had clover and sunflower. Can sprouts be juiced?
