It is interesting to note that in the US total hospital admissions

for anything related to a lack of protein, as long as records have

been kept are ZERO.

There is way more protien in a good vegan diet with plenty of leafy

greens than your body can possibly make use of. So don't worry about

it and eat your spinich.

There apparently is a group of folks in France who practice this. It

helps, and is perhaps essential, to have a butcher who is sympathetic

to your cause...Perhaps the Whole Foods butcher-guys would be....

Hi T,

yes you can have find some of the butchers there sympathetic.

When I looked into it there were ideas for mixing ground lamb & sprouts ...

also organs since they contain COQ10

But the orgnas such as the heart are put into dog food.

Adrenal glands contain some form of vitamin c.

Thing is though that for one thing one really shouldn't eat much and I

have changed.

I think local farmers might be a better way to go.

What I would not ever suggest is eating anything in a local

supermarket-cooked/raw...that goes for most of the produce too

I get raw fish from a Japanese market. You get the best quality fish from

there..it is usually meant to be eaten raw. For beef you could try Whole

Foods and if you tell them it will be consumed raw they will give you the

best stuff. I usually only eat beef if I am going to an upscale restaurant

though and I will eat it seared on the outside.raw on the inside.

I would never ever get something from a regular grocer and eat it raw

though.yuck!

The group's charter is for a VEGAN raw food diet,

so I'll make this quick. I just want to suggest,

to those who do choose to eat raw meat, that you

might want to consider eating some good, live

kimchi along with your cadaver. The good micro-

organisms in unpasteurized fermented foods have

been shown to help protect against some of these

things. There are even studies wherein kimchi

was effective against the bird flu in chickens.

Thank you for posting this. Eating raw meat has serious risks, and is

not necessary for health at all. It is also disgusting, sorry. I would

kindly ask for people to not post about it if they do eat it. It is

inappropriate in a VEGAN group, as well as a natural health group. Erica

- There is no healthy raw fish. Mercury and parasites abound,

regardless. ERica

This is true, there has never been a single recorded case of protein deficiency

in the U.S.

Big strong animals like cows, horses etc. get their protein from plants

firsthand.

I also learned something very interesting. People worry about eating protein to

get enough protein when in fact, protein does not make protein in the

body...amino acids make protein in the body (greens).

Hello Friends,

Respectfully, since this is a raw vegan group, should we not focus on

that? I would rather listen to Elchanan and Erica debate natural

hygiene vs. wheat grass juice than have people talk about eating raw

fish or raw meat.

This is not a raw foods group, right? This is a raw vegan foods group.

Please someone correct me if I am wrong.

Just to give a different turn to the discussion, I want to say that

sweet red globe grapes with seeds are one of my favorite fruits. I

always prefer seeded grapes over seedless.

Namaste and love to all

Harsha
